Tardy...but for a good reason!

I apologize for not posting for a while but I have a good reason! I had to have surgery a few weeks ago so I was in recovery mode for a long time. I still am but I'm finally able to get out of bed and spend a few hours vertical instead of horizontal! LOL!

Ingredients:
Stamps - Circle Circus and Thoughts of You
Cardstock - Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
Embellishments - Old Olive ribbon, rhinestone brad
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Versamark, Old Olive
Tools - Round Scallop, 1" Round and 3/4" round punches, silver embossing powder, heat tool

Cardstock: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White and Autumn Meadows dp

Where have I been?

I thought I would show you all why I have been so tardy in posting projects. My oldest graduated last Thursday! So I was preparing, creating, crying and celebrating!

Now that the festivities have died down, for a bit anyway, I will be posting more frequently. I am also getting ready for a craft sale at my church's annual Summer Festival. It is this weekend and I think I am good to go! I will post pictures of my table once the big sale is over. Let's pray for hot weather!
Until next time, happy stamping!

Good Grief Charlie Brown!!!

I haven't posted in almost a month! I have been busy but time sure can get away from you!

Today I held a Stamping Extravaganza! Nine ladies participated and w
e had a blast!
There were four projects for them to make...two of each project...so they were busy!

One of the projects was this covered notebook with a beaded pen. We used the Designer paper from the Sale-a-bration mini. Mine is pretty plain compared to some! I should have took pictures during the event, too! Next time!

Another project we made were dry erase tiles. We used the Bright Delight rub ons. They were tricky getting on to the tile, but one of the ladies figured out we were pressing too hard! Go figure!

Our card was the Two-way Open Card. We used Urban Garden and Bella Rose (not pictured) designer paper, taffeta ribbon, cardstock and the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (my new fav!).

We also made a ribbon bookmark but I have failed to take a pic of it! I will save that for another post!

Until next time, happy stamping!
