Any day now...

...the snow can go away! We got a wicked storm again yesterday, starting in the afternoon. I didn't even stamp last night because I didn't want to leave the warmth of my fireplace! Can you imagine, using a fireplace at the end of March? Mind-blowing!

I don't have anything to share today except my wishes for you to keep warm and faithful that someday the sun will shine and it will be warm and it will melt all that snow!

Until next time, happy stamping!

Snow...again?

When I woke up this morning there must have been at least a foot of the fluffy stuff! I thought it was spring! Enough with the snow already! Oh well, at least it is almost April...yet where I come from (Sask) we still got snow in May!
In honour of the snow, I am showing you a card I made last December using the Peaceful Wishes stamp set. I just love that stamp set!
Ingredients: Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla cardstock, Always Artichoke and Bravo Burgundy ink, Mellow Moss Gingham ribbon.

Until next time, happy stamping!

Is It Spring Yet?

It sure felt like it today! But, alas, we are supposed to get more snow by the end of next week. Oh well!

My friend Corina and I got together Wednesday night and made some money holder Thank You cards.
Aren't they awesome? We made seven in total.

Ingredients: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Whisper White cardstock, Cutie Pie DP, So Many Scallops stamp set, scallop, tab and 1 1/4 circle punches, Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery ink
These are super easy to make! Cut a piece of cardstock to 9 by 8 1/2. Score at 3 and 6 inches on the 9 inch side.

Cut a half circle from the side that folds under the tab part of the holder. Tape the sides together, so the moola doesn't fall out!

We then cut a 3 inch piece of DP and folded it around the card, but not too tight as then it won't slide off and on easily.

Stamp whichever stamp you like from So Many Scallops, punch out with the scallop punch. Punch out two tab punches and cross them over each other to make a circle, which is then just a bit bigger than your scallop punch. Adhere to the DP and Voila!

Until next time, happy stamping!

Little Brown Trucks!

I love little brown trucks! They bring me toys! Like today, for instance. The little brown truck brought me this super hostess stamp set called From the Garden. I had to use it right away!

Ingredients: From the Garden stamp set, Whisper White and Kraft cardstock, Certainly Celery designer paper, Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, Certainly Celery ink and a ribbon slider from the Hodge Podge hardware that is in the Occasions mini.

Isn't it purty? I cased the card from the Spring and Summer catty, but just changed the colors.

Until next time, happy stamping!

Invitations Galore!

I have been busy the last couple weeks making invitations for my husband. He is going to be ordained a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church in June. The stamp is not Stampin'Up (sorry) but the rest is. I used Elegant Eggplant and Shimmery White cardstock. I stamped the cross with versa mark and then embossed it with black embossing powder. The saying was printed onto the Shimmery White cardstock with a printer. The scallop edge was done with the slit punch, which took a long time to do 75 invites with!

On another note, the Occasions mini is now out and customers are able to order from it. It has some awesome things in it, especially the new silver Hodge Podge hardware! I am in love!

Until next time, happy stamping!
